This year's International Women's Day theme, Embrace Equity, focuses on the importance of embracing equity for women. We'll come together to learn about ways we can promote gender equity in our community.
The event will feature guest speakers, a chance to connect with other like-minded individuals who are passionate about supporting and empowering women and include a delicious lunch and happy hour. We hope that you will be able to join us in this celebration of the strength and resilience of women, and in our shared commitment to promoting equity for all.

Megan Crespi
Chief Operating Officer, Comerica Bank
Megan D. Crespi was named Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer in January 2023. She previously served as Executive Vice President and Chief Enterprise Technology & Operations Services Officer for Comerica Bank. In Crespi’s new role, she continues to oversees Technology, Enterprise Security, Lending And Trade Services, Corporate Real Estate, Customer Contact Center, along with two additional areas, Data and Analytics and a new Digital function, which focuses on Comerica's digital transformation. She is a member of Comerica’s Management Executive Committee.
In 2021, Crespi was named among Crain’s Detroit Business Notable Women in Banking. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a focus in Organizational Studies from the University of Michigan and a Masters degree in Information Systems Management from Carnegie Mellon University.

Laura Clark
Chief Information Officer, State of Michigan
Laura Clark serves as the chief information officer for the State of Michigan directing the state’s technology and security efforts. As Deputy Director for the Michigan Department of Technology, Management & Budget (DTMB), she oversees operations for the department which provides information technology, business, and administrative services to Michigan’s residents, businesses, state agencies, state employees, and retirees.
Clark, a 20-year veteran of public service IT, can balance her strength, which include leadership, vision, and strategic and tactical planning, along with the ability to promote collaboration at all levels to support high-level, critical statewide projects to successful completion.

Michelle Grover
Chief Technology Officer, Slalom
Michelle Grover oversees the technology organization, including infrastructure, product engineering, and architecture, with the goal of empowering Slalom teams around the world to deliver outcomes that build better tomorrows for all. She brings to Slalom an impressive technical background, including previous leadership positions as Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Twilio, and Senior Vice President of Software Development for TripIt and Mobile at SAP Concur. She was most recently the Interim Chief Information and Digital Officer at First Command Financial Services, which provides banking services and coaching for those who serve in the US military in their pursuit of financial security.

Hina Baloch
Executive Director of Sustainability & Environment Communications, General Motors
Hina Baloch serves as the Executive Director of Sustainability and Environment at General Motors. She has previously worked in the bi-lateral Trade and Diplomacy field with a British Government Organization focusing on trade, education, and diplomatic ties between the UK and Central and South Asian countries. She has also worked as a quantitative and qualitative researcher in the International Development field with Brookings Institute and Results for Development in Washington D.C. focusing on education, child protection and public health in the Middle East, Africa and Eastern Europe.
Noelle Valente
Vice President of Global Leadership, Organizational Development, & Corporate Human Resources, Lear
Noelle Valente initially joined Lear in 2000 as the Manager of Global Expatriate Programs and went on to assume the roles of Plant HR Manager, Corporate HR Manager for Lear Europe (Paris, France), and Global HR Manager for Lear’s E-Systems. In December of 2013, she assumed responsibility for Global Leadership and Organizational Development. Since 2013, Noelle has led the development of Lear’s Leadership Models and the design of programs and tools that sustain a strong leadership culture.
Dr. Betty Chu
Senior Vice President, Associate Chief Clinical Officer/Chief Quality Officer, Henry Ford Health
As Senior Vice President, Associate Chief Clinical Officer/Chief Quality Officer for the enterprise, Dr. Betty Chu provides strategic and operational leadership for the System’s quality and safety initiatives and for performance measurement, reporting and clinical optimization. Since beginning in this role in 2018, she has overseen the development and oversight of a comprehensive safety and quality/performance improvement program; and leading the organizations’ journey to high reliability. During the COVID epidemic, she led Henry Ford Health’s response including leading the system incident command and strategic deployment of our vaccination efforts.
Jenny Hall
Vice President of Customer Care, Carhartt
Jenny Hall is the Vice President of Customer Care at Carhartt, Inc., and is responsible for designing and supporting a seamless customer service experience across Carhartt’s Wholesale, Carhartt Company Gear, and Direct-to-Consumer sales distribution models. She is also responsible for ensuring that Carhartt can meet its near-term performance metrics, all while delivering customer satisfaction through the Order Management and Sales and Operations Execution (S&OE) teams, as well as dedicated support of the company’s top 60 customers.
