We continue to Celebrate and Reflect.

Slalom St. Louis' Employee Resource Group, REACH continued celebrating Black History by holding an optional event for our employees in-person and virtually. Attendees watched a live viewing of the Pruitt-Igoe housing project, a known failed project to St. Louis and systemic resemblance of low efforts to support the Black community.

After the viewing attendees engaged in an actionable discussion hosted by Jason Watson, VP of Workforce Development at Mission STL. We reflect on one of our favorite lessons from Jason "Humility is the posture of your heart and how you see you."

Attendees also received gifts from local Black-owned businesses. You can find a link to those businesses and to learn more about Mission St. Louis below.
