Maryann Byrdak, Feeding America CIO

As Chief Information Officer, Maryann serves as senior technology strategist and is responsible for guiding Feeding America’s vision for the emerging technologies, digital trends, and infrastructure advances that will help the organization fulfill its mission.

 

Maryann joined Feeding America in May 2019 from Potbelly Sandwich Works, Inc., where she had been the Senior Vice President of Technology, leading the chain’s entire technology footprint including corporate headquarters and more than 500 restaurants nationwide. Prior to Potbelly, Maryann spent nine years in various roles with the Office Depot/Office Max organization, including as Senior Director, Information Technology Merger Integration, where she was responsible for system integration strategy, synergy valuation, outsourcing services implementation, and end-to-end conversions.

 

Maryann earned a B.S. in Computer Science from Elmhurst College, Illinois, and an M.B.A. in Information Management and Marketing from the Illinois Institute of Technology, Stuart School of Business in Chicago.
