Slalom Achieves AWS Healthcare Competency Status
Seattle, WA – December 15, 2020 – Slalom announced today that it has achieved Amazon Web Services (AWS) Healthcare Competency status. This designation recognizes that Slalom has demonstrated proficiency and success in building healthcare solutions on AWS that securely store, process, transmit, and analyze clinical information. This is Slalom’s 13th AWS competency. AWS customers can now identify Slalom as a Premier APN consulting partner capable of helping build innovative, cost-effective, and secure solutions that improve operational and clinical effectiveness, while improving patient outcomes for healthcare payers and providers.
As an organization with a passion for the healthcare industry, Slalom has over 2,000 consultants, 200+ clients, and 20% of Slalom’s dedicated work in healthcare space. Clients include payers, providers, health advocacy organizations, medical device companies, consultancies, and technology vendors.
“By bringing our deep healthcare experience together with our technical strength in AWS, Slalom’s team helps our healthcare clients accelerate their digital transformation, leverage the cloud and enable advanced healthcare analytics to improve clinical outcomes.” said Brenda Ding, Managing Director on the Seattle Slalom team. "Together, with our clients, we’ll be able to redefine and reimagine a better future in healthcare.”
The work of Slalom and our Slalom Build teams was critical to earning the AWS Healthcare Competency. Build’s work with Cecelia Health helped to demonstrate Slalom’s skills in building user-friendly, accurate analytics platforms. Slalom’s work supporting Pacific Dental showed our capabilities supporting clients with hybrid migration projects.
“The AWS Healthcare Competency status highlights Slalom’s capability in building healthcare solutions that are compliant, cost-effective and secure,” said Oliver Choy, Solution Principle on the Slalom San Francisco Team. “Slalom’s strategy and technology expertise combined with AWS’ secure, reliable, scalable services, will help our healthcare providers leverage the cloud to improve operational and clinical effectiveness, as well as unlock more rapid clinical innovations to improve patient outcomes.”
