Blake Marggraff graduated from Washington University in May, 2015 and founded the digital health company Epharmix, based on research around chronic disease management for medically underserved patient populations. Epharmix has demonstrated meaningful engagement and positive clinical outcomes, published in nine peer-reviewed journal articles, and received the Global Impact Award in 2016; health systems throughout the country use Epharmix to help support patients across dozens of conditions. Blake was recognized at the annual HIMSS global 2019 summit as a Healthcare Superhero alongside Rasu Shrestha, MD (Atrium) and Aashima Gupta (Google). Prior to founding Epharmix, Blake co-founded the education technology company Betabox Labs, scaling to dozens of universities across the U.S.

 

Dr. Chris Schlanger

Chris Schlanger, MD, MBA currently leads program development and strategy in telemedicine and telehealth at Mercy Virtual in Chesterfield, MO. His work encompasses need identification, business case planning, and execution of the clinical and technical aspects of creating a full virtual care continuum. In addition, Dr. Schlanger is an active board-certified Emergency Medicine physician. He has worked in several clinical and non-clinical capacities, including leadership and advisory positions in health systems and early-stage health and tech companies. Previously he served as a consultant with the Advisory Board and has been a Lecturer at Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis.
