Navigate the AI frontier in government with Slalom
Whether you process public records requests or need to protect sensitive information, our IDP accelerator can help you save time and money while enabling faster responses to constituent requests. Powered by AWS’ modern cloud and data platform, the accelerator includes out of the box PHI & PII redaction and archiving capabilities that are modular and scalable to many other AI use cases. The accelerator also includes a user interface for document upload with a series of options for human-in-the-loop review, editing, or rejection.
State increases availability of documents for public consumption using AI
A large state library in New England aimed to improve its document archiving process by reducing the time spent on redacting and archiving submissions. Recognizing the potential time savings, the library decided to automate the manual redaction process.
Slalom developed an AWS-based solution that allows archivists to upload files, which are then automatically redacted for PII and PHI data before being sent to the digital archive. This automation eliminates the need for manual redaction and metadata CSV file creation, saving thousands of hours annually. Employees can now focus on more valuable tasks.
