Watch Slalom, Chicago Ideas, and the Chicago Cubs discuss the evolution of our city’s experience and uncover why Chicago is uniquely positioned for greatness.
Big ideas are only impactful if made real for our community.
Slalom lives and works in Chicago, too. Our work in the public sector has fed communities, closed health inequity gaps, and created new opportunities for Chicago’s youth to engage in community service – building better tomorrows for all. Our work is fueled by our people and connection in the community. Slalom is committed to building teams that reflect the diversity of our city by hiring to Chicagoland census. Through our partnerships with local organizations like P33 and the Civic Consulting Alliance, we combine the best of our people, experience, and connections to not only help you dream up your big ideas, but also make them real.

Twenty different partners came together (including organizations such as the library and the parks department) to create over 2,000 youth opportunities focused on community service. Read more here.

We partnered with the Lake County Health Department to help vaccinate its diverse population while building equity and long-term community trust. The technology developed through this project will help the county meet the needs of its community for years to come – providing a foundational, scalable platform on which Lake County can build and address future challenges more quickly.
